Hi, I’m Grace!

I’m a therapist for deep thinkers who are ready to start living with more self-trust.

Licensed therapist serving clients virtually in Colorado & Pennsylvania

On my own journey,

As a recovering intellectualizer, I know what it’s like to try to think your way into healing.

I read the books, practiced yoga, and gave my friends advice. Always trying to become a better version of myself.

And yet, I still had moments where my emotions surprised me. Moments stuck in my head, even though on the outside I looked self-assured and put together.

I was the “cool girl” who didn’t care too much, didn’t need too much, was capable, and could handle things on my own.

Turns out, I did care.

And not caring was actually a way of protecting myself. I had learned to disconnect from the parts of myself that felt vulnerable.

Healing asked me to slow down. To feel. To ask for what I need. To not be okay all the time. Learning to feel my feelings (and not just think about them) changed the way I related to myself, my relationships, and the world around me.

It taught me that emotions aren’t weaknesses — they’re part of being human.

And it gave me the freedom to not just understand the person I wanted to become, but to actually show up as her.

My approach:

At the center of my work is our relationship.

I work relationally and draw from somatic therapies, parts work, and ACT. Read more about these here.

Therapy is not something I do to you — it’s something we create together.

We slow things down to see what’s happening underneath— your thoughts, your emotions, and how your nervous system is reacting in the here and now.

I’m direct and not afraid to challenge you. If I notice a pattern, a shift in your energy, or something happening between us in the room, I’ll bring it into our work together.

I won’t just nod along. I’ll offer honest reflections, ask questions, and invite you to get curious.

At the same time, this work is always grounded in compassion. We’re not trying to fix or judge the parts of you that learned to survive — we’re learning to understand them, support them, and create new choices.

Clients often describe me as grounding, playful, and easy to be around. I believe healing can hold both depth and lightness. We can talk about the hard things, cry when we need to, and still laugh along the way.

my values:

collective liberation, compassion, safety, self-agency, community, curiosity, and embodiment

“Healing begins with presence— being fully with what is happening inside.”

— Resmaa Menakem, My Grandmother’s Hands

When I’m not in the therapy room…

You can find me outside — hiking, camping, snowboarding, or playing in the creek. I feel most connected when I’m in nature, preferably dancing barefoot in the grass.

I’m also a yoga teacher, I love to move my body.

I love solo travel and the freedom that comes with it. As the eldest daughter, there is something so restorative about being able to slow down and experience the world without needing to anticipate what anyone else needs.

When I’m not outside though, I’m a homebody. You’ll find me curled up on the couch lost in a fantasy novel, experimenting with my new coffee recipe of the week.

As a second-generation immigrant with Chinese, Lao, and Vietnamese roots, I’ve also experienced the complexities of balancing connection, responsibility, and culture.

And, of course, no introduction would be complete without mentioning my cats, Pinto and Sato. You may see them in our video calls every now and then — they’re very committed to being part of the therapy process.

Take a breath and notice what stirs in you.

If something inside you is curious, hopeful, or just tired of going it alone — I’m here, when you’re ready.
